Key Responsibilities:
- Will be involved in projects at all stages, from crafting proposals through design and manufacturing
- Participate in concept brainstorming meetings
- Perform mechanical design for new medical and consumer products
- Build prototypes, perform testing, and iterate
- Produce detailed component and assembly drawings
- Supply chain management, including part fabrication, component selection, and assembly
- Follow medical device design controls, including design documentation and writing and executing verification test protocols
- Assist vendors in design transfer and troubleshooting manufacturing processes
- Interface with clients
- Provide mentorship to other team members
Skills/Qualifications:
- BS, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent, advanced degree a plus
- Background in disciplines in addition to ME will be valued
- 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience in product development
- Proficient in SolidWorks
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis
- Understanding of a wide array of manufacturing methods
- Medical device experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Skills/Qualifications:

Manufacturing Electronics Technician

We are currently searching for a manufacturing electronics technician with medical device manufacturing (box build) experience to join our team in Cary. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an aptitude for problem solving and a pride in the quality of their work. The candidate will have hands-on skills with PCBA soldering, cable assemblies, PCBA testing, and a technical background.

Key Responsibilities:
- Will be involved with transferring new products into manufacturing
- Work cross-functionally with engineers and quality personnel
- Participate in client and internal meetings
- Follow medical device manufacturing procedures
- Build, test, and troubleshoot PCB Assemblies
- Electromechanical assembly building and troubleshooting
- Failure analysis/problem solving
- Follow ISO 13485 quality SOPs and documentation
- Write test and assembly procedures
Skills/Qualifications:
- 2-year technical Associate’s degree
- Hand solder skills on small PCBA components (0402, no-lead parts, and leaded parts)
- Ability to follow schematics
- Cable harness (hand crimp) experience
- Familiar with basic bench test tools (DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies, etc.)
- Versatility will be highly valued, particularly mechanical and electrical aptitude, and medical device experience
- Assembly experience is nice to have
- Excellent hands-on skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
